Hello, I am having trouble connecting my two WF-803Ms with and Xfinity XB3 gateway. The gateway supports bonded Moca 2.0 and had limited setting (Channel is unmodifiable but listed as using D1 (1150 Mhz) and with the preferred network controller setting to enabled). The gateway does not detect the WF-803Ms, and the WF-803M cannot see the gateway. Interestingly, when I remove the gateway and connect the same coax to a WF-803M, the WF-803M will see each other and establish a Moca 2.5 connection. Is there something just incompatible with the XB3 gateway and the WF-803M? I flashed both to the newest firmware (v1.0.14) and no change - can't see the gateway but will connect to each other. Tried restarting the gateways and WF-803Ms numerous times and played with the preferred network controller setting to no avail. I need three locations with network access, which is why I am trying to use the Moca capabilities of the gateway for the third (instead of buying another adapter) even through I know speeds will be at Moca 2.0 levels.
Any suggestions. All splitters are Moca certified.
And some more information that I left out of the original post - yes, Moca is enabled on the gateway; (Moca) light on back of gateway is even on. I do have a PoE filter installed by Comcast on input to main splitter. Again, the go coax adapter see each other right away (within 10 seconds max) but can never detect the XB3 gateway. I tried with just one WF-803M and the gateway and WF-803M Moca light will never turn on even though the gateway Moca light is on, and then with two WF-803Ms, which will see each other when but never the gateway.
