Hi there,
I recently bought two MA2500D, connected them and everything works fine (940mbits throughput connecting 2 Gigabit ethernet clients via a router). Link rates via coax show 2.2 gbits.
I realized, that there are some artefacts when watching Satellite TV (DVB-S2) since I installed the devices.
I read, that the MoCA 2.5 E-Band should not interfere with SAT-TV due to the lower frequency (400-700 MHz).
Are you planning to add support for the E-Band to existing goCoax devices like MA2500D or would this require a hardware change?
Does the MA2500D include an integrated MoCA filter? I take it that the filter basically zeroes in on the Extender D Band frequency? A MoCA filter is not included with Hitron's MoCA 2.5 adaptor, as far as I can see. To make it seem like MoCA WAN on a G1100, several people used the backdoor shell to change the default band coreball from D to C. Since VZ eliminates the MoCA WAN controller entirely in their latest routers, MoCA WAN is now obsolete.
