I have a few questions about the MA2500D.
1) What type of coax connector does it have? It looks like a F-Connector what it isn't mentioned anywhere.
2) Does it support VLAN Tags? There was some mention of it somewhere on this website but it didn't explicitly confirm it. I wish to install a managed switch on the MA2500D and use VLANs.
3) Will it work with an ancient 3C-2V coax cable? It worked for cable TV in Europe over 10 years ago. I haven't used the cable since and it was left untouched.
4) Where can I find the manual online?
I also noticed the lack of mention regarding the coax connector, but from what I can tell, it does look like an F-Connector. It would be great to get confirmation on this.
The VLAN tag support is something I’ve seen referenced too, but never explicitly confirmed. If it does support VLAN tagging, that would be a huge plus for setting up a managed switch. Hopefully, someone here has firsthand experience with this.
As for the 3C-2V coax cable, it might work, but considering its age and the fact that it was used for cable TV over a decade ago, it could introduce signal loss or interference. If you still have it lying around, it might be worth testing before committing to it.
Finding the manual online has been a bit of a challenge. If anyone has a direct link, that would be super helpful. Otherwise, maybe the manufacturer’s support team could provide it.
Looking forward to any insights from others who have used the MA2500D! Retro Bowl
I guess there's no support for gocoax products. I don't recommend buying any of their products.
