MoCA light will not turn on and no link to router

I have a goCoax MA2000C and an Arris TG4482A (XB8 Xfinity Xfi Advanced Gateway) and sometimes the adapter works just fine, but a lot of the time, it just goes out and doesn't work for a long time. Something weird that happens is that when I turn MoCA off on the router (curiosity got the better of me) the adapter MoCA light turned on, but no internet connection was there on my PC. And whenever I tried to turn it back on, it wouldn't turn on unless the adapter was disconnected. I do have a POE filter installed, and MoCA is enabled on the router, but no light. I also have an X1 set top box with DVR and it did have some effect on it, like when I cleared the DVR, the adapter started working. And when I unplugged the box entirely, it worked until it didn't. Then I plugged it back in after the adapter stopped working, and unplugged it and MoCA disabled itself on the router, and wouldn't turn on unless I plugged it back in.
