I finally got my two adapters (MA2500D) working a few weeks ago. I decided to add a third and it has been a nightmare. Couldn't get the moca light to come on and then stumbled on disconnecting my mini cable box. When I reconnected the cable box it would not get the correct signal from the main dvr which is working well. Also the third adapter does not seem to show up on my network properly. I cannot seem to login to it/identify the correct IP address. I logged into the other two and this is what I see. I have POE filter at the main line coming in and one from the splitter going to the cable modem. My network seems to be all from from a single line that splits to three rooms. I cannot see the splitters as they are in the wall/attic but the network seems to be reaching the right speeds near 900mbps. It seems that the mini cable box competes with the 3 MOCA adapter for the signal and not sure if I can add another filter somewhere to help with this. Please advise.
Please help lol
From the MoCA link rate table, we can see the link rate is too low. especially between the node 0 and node 1.
To do the quick check. You can connect the two MoCA adapters directly with a short coaxial cable and check the MoCA link rate.
If the link rate is about 3500Mbps, we need to do more check about your splitter, cables, something like that.
If the link rate is still very low. we need to double check the devices.
Could you draw a netwok diagram?
